More than ever nowadays we have seen professionals analyzing our social media presence, giving tips and showing us why we should be like-able, haven’t we? My conclusion is that we should just use our common sense, but since learning something new is never too much to do while having some fun, I invite you to see the slides below.
We’ve already discussed the top skills and abilities necessaries for a small business, and now we have a list of 15 simple skills that Dave Kerpen advises us to master. Why should we pay attention to this? He is a speaker, best selling author and the CEO of Likeable Media and therefore knows a little something about how to be like-able.
You will need to discover these skills by yourself, but I can tell you my favorites:
- reinvent yourself – if you notice that something is not working in the way you are, or in the way you are doing something, just reinvent yourself
- read – everything you can, to be an informed person and learn more and more
- write – to show your point of view, and help others with your experience
- be honest and transparent – everybody will know if you aren’t sometime soon
What do you think about the list? Do you have any favorites? What was your favorite quote from the slide?
